At Welgelegen Accommodation, the 1.5-hectare campsite is located behind the farm and has 25 pitches for camping with your tent, caravan or motorhome.
Whatever camping equipment you use at Camping Welgelegen, you will get a lovely open space, between other campers and the permanent rental accommodations.

After a day of being active in settling down in peace, a grateful gift. Whether you’ve taken a beautiful bike ride, been sporty on the IJsselmeer, walked and strolled through the atmospheric picturesque villages – you will find peace again at Welgelegen.
If you feel like seeking out your own silence, then you will find lovely sitting areas everywhere in Welgelegen’s yard where you can catch the last rays of the sun, or just that extra shade. Need extra heat? Then a visit to the infrared sauna is a wonderful gift for your body.
Large groups
In consultation there is the possibility to stand right next to a Pipowagen, hiker’s cabin, holiday cabin or VW Bus accommodation if you want to come and celebrate with a larger group. We understand that fun goes hand in hand with convenience. We are happy to contribute to this.
Bike camping
You don’t have to travel with a lot of luggage if you would like to explore the beautiful landscapes of Friesland as lightly as possible by bike or on foot. At Camping Welgelegen we have extra service with a covered kitchen.
Pets
Pets are welcome on the campsite, as in some rental accommodations. There is a beautiful wide walking area around Lifestyle camping Welgelegen that will make every dog and owner happy.
Breakfast buffet
As a guest at the Welgelegen campsite it is possible to enjoy a Frisian breakfast which is served as a large buffet. You can join us every morning between 8.00 and 10.00. Reservations the night before are necessary.

New Sanitary facilities
Our sustainable sanitary building offers all the comfort and convenience you need. Just a short walk away, you can enjoy heated family shower, toilets, washing cubicles, and eight showers powered by heat pumps and heat pipes. For an eco-friendly solution, our toilets are flushed with rainwater.
